Holiday Green Beans

Ingredients:

1 package (16-ounce) frozen cut green beans

1 Tbsp olive oil (or orange flavored olive oil)

1 tsp grated orange peel

1 Tbsp of orange juice

2 Tbsp honey

2 Tbsp chopped slivered almonds

1/2 cup of dried cranberries

Directions:

1. Steam green beans in a small saucepan for 5 to 7 minutes or microwave on high about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally; drain.

2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a small nonstick skillet over medium heat.

3. Add cranberries, honey and orange juice. Cook, stirring gently, until cranberries are soft and liquid is syrupy.

4. Stir in chopped nuts; toss mixture with green beans. Serve.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with your choice of lean protein.
