Fall FoodWorks Event & CompEAT Culinary Contest

The FoodWorks event with CompEAT, a culinary competition, was a success on Nov 6. More than 250 people attended the booths where educational materials and food samples from local restaurants and food companies were distributed. CompEAT, the culinary competition, had 4 teams competing against each other with very original and heart healthy recipes. The winners of competition were:

- 1st place: Asian Glaze Salmon and the Chopped Salad with the Ginger Citrus dressing. Team leader: Peah Peck

- 2nd place: Pine Nuts Pancake with the Grandma’s Breakfast Fruit. Team leader: Tammy Kieper.
